What are composite doors?

The structure of composite doors makes them inherently strong and intruder resistant. Made up of various layers including timber and uPVC, they have an insulating core which makes them extremely energy efficient. This removes draughts and cold spots from your home. The exterior is made with a GRP skin which gives them their timber look and is damage and fade resistant.

Our doors feature the country’s most secure locking systems including Ultion and Lock Lock. These locks ensure that your home is kept safe when you’re not in and cannot be broken into. To ensure that you are covered by your home insurance, you need to make sure you have the correct standard of door and lock as set out by your provider. The minimum standards of security from Legal & General say that the door you leave your home from should have a lock certified to British Standard BS3621 or a multi-point locking system with at least three locking points.
